Directions to the Wheeler Auditorium

FROM UNIVERSITY AVE IN BERKELEY

Once on University Ave take it all the way to where it ends at Oxford St.

Turn left on Oxford.

Go a couple blocks and turn right on Hearst St. (there is a traffic light at this intersection).

Go up Hearst until you get to Galey St.

Turn right on Galey St. (there is a traffic light). Stay on Galey for a couple blocks until you come to the east gate of the University, which will be on your right. The east gate is across Galey St. from the Greek Theatre.

Turn right into the east gate.

Go straight past a small booth that will be on your left. You do not need to stop at this Booth. After the booth you veer slightly to your left and then continue straight until you come to a “T” intersection. The Campanile will be on your left. The distance from the booth to the “T” intersection is about one block.

Turn left at this “T” intersection.

Continue straight until you come to the next “T” intersection. This is South Drive (it is only about one block from the 1st “T” intersection).

Turn right on South Dr, you will go less then a block and you will see some barrier poles. This is the end of South Drive and the closest you can get to the front of Wheeler Hall.

If you are dropping people off here please do not leave your guy unattended or there for long. You will get a ticket. At the end of South Dr. is a handicapped space. If you park and block this space without a handicapped parking permit the parking ticket is over $300.
